About Crossette Frames

Crossette Frames was officially established in July of 2025 in Sebastian County Ar. by Owner/Founder Ammon C. Crossette.

“I have been building frames since 2007. Previously in Utah, I have moved to Arkansas to build a shop and sell hand-crafted, gilt frames that will showcase your art in gallery and home settings alike.


Fine Art needs fine art framing.


My Mission Statement:


To revitalize, restore, and enhance the beauty and the industry of American Fine Art, and American Art.

To uplift and spotlight the skilled trades that support American artists, and enhance the general beauty and perception of art and artists throughout the greater United States of America.

To bring Artists together in one place who reside in the Greater United States (fly-over states) of Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Iowa, Kentucky, etc.”

Had a little snafu with the "milk paint" that wasn't actually milk paint and an uncooperative sprayer- So one of these lovelies is waiting to be sanded down and resprayed while we wait on an order of actual milk paint from (actually, gonna wait to tag til after this goes well) and we'll see how that works.

A few things on the wall (no sale.) The first one is a 16x20 I picked up to use from a thrift shop. I like the profile and will have the mill copy it. It will become a standard lower end frame for the shop. 2nd in a prototype I like- a stained oak panel has a lot of options, and the outer & inner rails work in black or gold leaf. I have a few carves that work on this one. 3rd a one off that I cut down into 2 odd sized frames to paint for. And lastly, an unfinished prototype at the bottom that needs an outer panel- probably a wide hardwood or barnwood, and then this filet will be gilded & distressed.

Custom orders are available with a minimum order of 10 frames of the same profile. We are still building suppliers in the region, but can source many profiles beyond what is seen here. We do gold leaf and can customize antique & distress to suit your preferences. Custom orders require a deposit and 2 months advanced notice. Deposit is non-refundable & will be applied to your next order. Deposit is determined by moulding availability & gold leaf requirements.
